Speed Limits and Speed Zones on Ohio Streets and Roadways

This training will provide a brief overview of the statutory speed limits (aka prima facie) per the Ohio Revised Code. We will also discuss speed zone studies, which can be used to determine if deviations from the statutory speed limit are appropriate. We will go over what is involved in a speed zone study, including the process and procedures for requesting and authorizing speed zones in the State of Ohio.
