Ohio BWC Substance Use Recovery and Workplace Safety Program

The Ohio BWC has created a program that allows eligible employers to be reimbursed for expenses related to enforcing a drug-free work environment. In partnership with the Alcohol Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) boards, the Ohio BWC has announced the Substance Use Recovery and Workplace Safety Program (SURWSP). 

To be eligible, employers must pay into the State Insurance Fund, be current on all payments due to BWC, and be an active policy. All 88 counties in Ohio are eligible to participate in this program.
