Ohio LTAP Safety Sign Grant

The Ohio Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) has announced the 2022 Ohio Township Safety Sign Grant Program! The purpose of this program is to provide townships across Ohio with safety signage materials to be used on township roads. Townships can choose to improve their existing signs or install new ones.

Included in this grant are safety signs, posts for the signs, and hardware for the signs. To be eligible, townships must have a higher than average roadway systemwide crash rate based on the previous five years’ crash history (2016-2020). If a township has been funded in the past by the Township Safety Signage Grant Program, they are ineligible. The application deadline is June 17, 2022.
