OTA Board Meeting Minutes & Additional Info
The Ohio Township Association Constitution requires that OTA board meeting minutes be sent to all County Township Association officers. County Memos are our method of sending the minutes, with additional updates. Included could be details on legislative activities, OTA initiatives, membership, conference previews, and other information which the OTA would encourage counties to disseminate to the full membership.
Additional materials may be sent with the County Memo. For instance, the County Directory is sent with the first County Memo of the year. A year-end summary of legislation passed is sometimes included, as well as the 100 percent membership certificates.
The County Memo is sent approximately four times each year, depending on the OTA board meeting schedule. It is sent to all County Township Association officers approximately one month after each board meeting or whenever the minutes have been transcribed and approved by the OTA secretary/treasurer.
The Memo is sent by mail or email, depending on the preference of each county officer.
