Ohio's Adult-Use Cannabis Law: Local Government Rights and Program Overview

Ohio's law on adult-use cannabis is effective, and sales of adult-use cannabis should commence between June and September of this year throughout the state.  The Department of Commerce, Division of Cannabis Control, is finalizing rules on the implementation of the program. Ohio law gives certain rights to local government related to adult use operators in their community. Please join us for a timely update to learn more about the status of the cannabis program from the Department and an overview of local government rights from the authors of the cannabis law found in Chapter 3780 of the Ohio Revised Code.
