House Bill 54 (Transportation Budget)
To make appropriations for programs related to transportation for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2027, and to provide authorization and conditions for the operation of those programs.
Status
On March 19, the Ohio Senate passed HB 54, the transportation budget, by a vote of 32-0. The Ohio House voted to concur with the Senate's changes and the bill has been sent to the Governor. Included in the Senate's version of HB 54 is a provision that would eliminate a township's ability to use traffic cameras. This does not affect flock cameras or license plate readers.
