THE OHIO ELECTRONIC RECORDS COMMITTEE PRESENTS: The 2017 Ohio ERC Fall Digitization Workshop "To Scan or Not to Scan: That is the Question"

August 17, 2017

Register today for the 2017 Ohio Electronic Records Committee’s fall workshop. In this free half day workshop we will investigate the pros and cons of scanning projects, as well as demonstrate a new feasibility tool developed by Ohio ERC for evaluating records for digitization. Following the presentation, attendees will engage in a series of hands-on training activities where they will be able to utilize the feasibility tool and uncover the hidden costs and variables of digitization projects through sample scenarios. Tours of the scanning operation at the Delaware County Records Center and Archives also will be provided. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of what and why to scan, as well as the hidden variables to consider.
